So this is my first original poem on this blog. I wrote this because I was trying to figure out what the hell love is, and of course, there are different kinds of love. There's friendship, intimate love, family... the list goes on. So, here is a VERY rough draft of my poem. Enjoy :)
Love is...
the tears we cry
the emptiness we feel
the quickening of our pulse
the laughter
the smilesforgiveness
and trust
the walls we build
around our hearts
the masks we wear
the reason we walk in the rain
the reason we dance
and sing
you asked me once
what love really is
why couldn't you see
it is everything?
